'Pupils are encouraged to reflect on what they have learned, to help them make even greater progress. For example, in a Year 5 mathematics lesson, pupils recorded ‘what stuck with me this week in maths’ and added it to a class display. There is, rightly, an emphasis on using key vocabulary as part of teaching different topics so that pupils can develop their speaking skills as well as their writing. Examples were seen of a range of new vocabulary being introduced effectively in history, music and science lessons.'

We offer an aspirational,  creative curriculum to engage pupils and build their confidence. In 'Our Curriculum' you will find the Knowledge Organisers for each year group. These outline the most important knowledge and skills for each theme.
